You huffed, flopping onto the hotel bed. It was a pretty tiring day today, and you wished for nothing but a shower. Unfortunately, Kakyoin had beaten you in a game of rock, paper, scissors, and so claimed the right to the shower first. Said male dropped his bag at the foot of his bed and laughed at your irate expression. Your heart fluttered at the sound.
“Lighten up (y/n),” he said. “At least we get beds of our own today.”
“Yeah, yeah,” you grumbled, flipping over to bury your face into the pillow. “Don’t use all the hot water Kakyoin.”
“I don’t even take that long!” Kakyoin protested.
You turned back over to point an accusatory finger at him. “Yes, you do! Remember when Polnareff was banging on the door when you were taking too long? We almost had an accident that day!” You shivered.
“It wasn’t my fault!”
You huffed and replied, “Sure...”
Your sentence was met with the bathroom door shutting and the shower turning on. The bed was really comfy and you were tempted to fall asleep, if not for the impending threat of Kakyoin marking your face with a pen. You frowned at the ceiling. Out of all the Crusaders, you two bonded the most, sharing private laughs and jokes at the expense of the others. Along the way, you realized that you had fallen heads over heel with the red-head. You wondered if he had fallen for you too.
Your musings were interrupted when you felt something wrapping around your ankle. Picking your head up, you saw Hierophant Green at the foot of the bed. The Stand tilted his head and waved at you. You sat up and scooched to the side of the bed, patting the empty space next to you. “Hey, Hierophant!”
The Stand withdrew from the foot of the bed and slid in next to you. Hierophant began to wound itself around in a sort of hug that only it could pull off. You giggled and gave its forehead a peck, wrapping your arm around it in return. Hierophant coiled tighter around you and you sighed. “This is new,” you said. Sighing, you wistfully added, “I wish I could cuddle Kakyoin like this, not that you’re a bad cuddler or anything, Hiero.” You gave it another kiss, this time on its cheek. “It’s just that I don’t know if he likes me back. Do you know?”
Hierophant didn’t reply but rested its head on top of yours. The water shut off in the shower, but it didn’t let go. “Uh...” you began, trying to wriggle out of the Stand’s hold. “Hierophant?”
The door to the bathroom pulled open to reveal Kakyoin with a furious blush on his face. You froze and felt heat creeping up to your face. Hierophant Green simply waved at its user and held you tighter. Your squeak broke whatever trance Kakyoin was under and the male snapped back to life. “I-I’m so sorry (y/n)! I don’t know what’s gotten into Hierophant today!”
Kakyoin approached you and began to try and pry his Stand off you. He yelped as tendrils wrapped around him and pulled him in. You wheezed as his weight landed on top of you. Hierophant Green refused to let Kakyoin pull away from you and stared at you. “I-I’m so sorry!” Kakyoin apologized again. His face was inches from yours and you swore that you were going to die from embarrassment.
“It’s—It’s fine! Uh, I think—I think that maybe Hierophant wants me to tell you something,” you said. Kakyoin froze above you. Hierophant was hovering behind him, giving you silent thumbs up. You opened your mouth but the words died on your tongue when you looked into Kakyoin’s eyes. Deciding to bite the bullet you grumbled, “Ugh... f*ck it.”
And proceeded to press your lips against his.
Pulling away right after, you buried your face into your hands, regretting the decision. This probably ruined everything between you two. Kakyoin was probably going to hate you for it. Stupid you and your stupid crush.
Then you felt a kiss on your forehead, similar to the one you gave Hierophant earlier. You froze in disbelief. Did Kakyoin... just kiss you???? His gentle hands pulled your hands away from your face, revealing his red-cheeked visage. “I... like you too.”
The two of you jumped as you heard clapping from behind Kakyoin. Hierophant Green was seated on the other bed, watching it all unfold. “You!” Kakyoin accused, pointing a finger at his Stand. “You knew I could feel it!”
“Wait,” you looked at his Stand, “YOU COULD FEEL WHAT HAPPENED?!?”
Hierophant dove underneath the other bed at your shout, leaving you and Kakyoin alone. Both of you groaned simultaneously. Kakyoin turned back to you and froze at the compromising position. Your flushed face stared up at him. “So...” you began awkwardly, voice cracking from embarrassment. “Do you want to cuddle?”
